Children under 10 will not require a spectator ticket. For our Newcastle event, any child who will occupy a seat will require a spectator ticket.
We have a strict no cancellation/refund policy.
We have partnered with the Rox Tickets (Hybrid Tickets) App as an official re-sale partner if you can no longer attend the event.
Please ensure all tickets, both athlete and spectator, are personalised by two weeks prior to the event. This allows us sufficient time to finalise entry procedures and ensure a smooth check-in process for everyone.
The time printed on your ticket indicates the official door opening time for the day you are participating. Please remember that this is different from your specific wave start time. Your wave start time, which will be communicated separately, is when you’ll actually begin the race.
Each registered athlete is entitled to two free spectator tickets. These will be automatically added to your basket at checkout. Our priority is to ensure all athletes have the opportunity to have their friends and family there to cheer them on.
As we get closer to the event, if our venue capacity allows, we will explore opening up the option to purchase additional spectator tickets for £15.
You only need to add one ‘Doubles’ ticket to your basket. The system is set up so that adding the ticket for athlete one will automatically add the ticket for athlete two. Remember to personalise the ticket information for both team members during the process.
You may request to change your ticket category, and such changes will be accommodated if availability permits. Contact us at hello@thehybridgames.uk for any requests.
All ticket amendments must be made no later than four weeks before the event date.
If you need to change the day you’re participating, staying at the same location, please get in touch with us at hello@thehybridgames.uk, and someone from the team will be able to help.
Please note, there is a cut off to change the day 4 weeks prior to the event.
Send us an Instagram DM, or email us at hello@thehybridgames.uk, we will assist you in finding a partner.
Your Hybrid Games registration includes: live race results, individual timing with workout splits, two free spectator tickets per athlete, hydration on course, access to award ceremonies, and a finisher’s patch.
We are aiming to send out the final wave times to all registered athletes approximately two weeks prior to the event. Please keep an eye on your email inbox (and maybe your spam folder just in case!) around that time.
Provisional wave times are available on the Event page.
To ensure a smooth start to your race, please head to the check-in area at least 90 minutes before your wave time. You will need to present your photo ID and your ticket (either on your phone or printed). This timeframe allows you to drop off any bags and take a look at the course layout. Once completed, you’ll receive a wristband that provides access to your specific wave.
This varies from person to person, as some athletes like to arrive early & take in the atmosphere, others would prefer to arrive & race! However, we strongly recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your start time.
You’ll be issued a timing chip when you sign it at registration. Our timing system is recognised worldwide, and will ensure every athlete gets clear results for each station.
We’ve got the best judges & they’ll be watching your every move, at every station!
Currently we plan to have only 20-30 in each wave to ensure the track is kept nice and clear for participants
There is no official cut-off time for completing The Hybrid Games. We believe in the spirit of participation and celebrating everyone’s effort!
Yes, we’ll be using state of the art weights at The Hybrid Games.
Each station will have different penalties. Please visit our Penalties document for more information.
The weights for mixed doubles will be scaled on the wall balls & the snatches. All other stations will be men’s weight.
You can find all the specific details regarding the weights for each movement in our comprehensive movement standards document. We highly recommend reviewing this document thoroughly before the event.
Runs 1 through 9 are each 600 meters. The final sprint finish is 200 meters.
Yes! Our movement standards are available on our website. If you follow our social channels, our athletes will be giving clear & concise demonstrations prior to the event.
The Hybrid Games is stepping it up, and it starts in London. From London onwards, all events will feature our upgraded race format, 10 stations, 10 runs, and a sprint finish. New Station 8 – Sled Pull: 80kg for women, 105kg for men over 60m. The format is sharper, the challenge is greater, and the standard just went up.
Once your wave time has been issued, we cannot make any amends.
Of course. We recommend bringing any personal medical equipment with you, but medical support will be available.
Yes! We’ll provide water and electrolytes on the course.
Movement Standards and ruling is our top priority for our participants. We believe consistent and precise performance criteria are fundamental to a fair competition. Our Judges will ensure movement standards are enforced at every station.
Yes, you will be responsible for keeping track of your own running laps during the event. There will be clear markings and potentially visual aids on the course to help you with this.
Ensure to thoroughly read the Athlete Race Day pack for any additional guidance.
